African Days started out as a hunting outfitter called Nimrod Safaris. It did well, but only started to really take off once Pieter Stofberg realized that the name "Nimrod" has a negative connotation in certain areas of the United States. The name was changed to African Days and things have not been the same since.
General demand from our clients soon forced the company to diversify, adding Fishing Tours and Photographic Safaris to its already existing hunting operation.
Throughout, the company maintained a philosophy of "client first, no matter what" and this has resulted in hundreds of very satisfied clients. Making very sure that every client, be they hunter, fisherman or photographer has the maximum possible experience allowed by each individual's budget is what this company is about.
Second only to the client is the company's employees. Pieter Stofberg has, from the very beginning, demanded only the best from everyone working for the company. "Only the best can work for us, because that is the way we will make sure we remain the best."
Growth during the last two years has been phenomenal and African Days now ranks as the number one outfitter in Namibia and is continuing to grow and add items to the list of products they offer prospective clients.
Future plans for the company include the opening of a permanent American office in order to facilitate booking procedures for its clients.
Pieter Stofberg and his staff, as well as all the operators affiliated to the company, remain absolutely committed to excellence and client satisfaction.
