To Whomever I had the great pleasure of hunting with Pieter Stofberg, owner of African Days and I also brought my 14 year old son, Luke. I met Pieter at a SCI banquet and immediately found him to be informative and easy to talk to. Since I felt so comfortable with Pieter, I bid on and bought a hunt. I had never traveled out of the country with firearms but had no complications. Pieter met us right at the airport in Windhoek and checked us through customs. I found the accommodations to be quite comfortable, clean and conveniently set up. Pieter and his staff went out of their way to make sure everything was " right" . His staff was very friendly and his number one staff person, Thomas, got along very well with my son, even teaching him to speak some of his native language. All of the vehicles and equipment used was in good working order and we had no delays or inconveniences throughout the entire hunt. Pieter also made the effort to introduce his son to mine as they were very close in age. This also gave me the opportunity to meet his wonderful wife. Laura and Andre were delightful and very friendly people. We saw lots of game every day, to the extent that I would not be able to keep anything resembling an accurate count. Any game harvested was immediately retrieved and taken care of. In fact, as I write this letter I have received my trophies (1 year after the hunt) and they all look just excellent. I can honestly say that my and my son's experience with Pieter and African Days was excellent and will always remain an experience of a lifetime. I hope that some day I will be able to return.
