Hello Pieter,
I have been putting this off too long and I apologize for not being timely with my thanks for a wonderful African experience. I have been to a few lodges, some in the USA , Mexico , South Africa and Argentina . Fortunately all were very clean and comfortable much like African Days and all had extremely friendly staff. However, I only remember one or two where the outfitter made us feel like we were the only clients he had, much like you did during our stay.
Then there was Etienne our P.H., professional is understatement when it comes to his performance. He worked hard for us and did it with total enthusiasm. I learned a lot in those eight days and it was not only in regards to hunting. I look forward to hunting with him in the future.
In closing I can assure you if I am fortunate enough to hunt in Africa a third time
my trip will definitely be planned through African Days! Pleasant and clean
lodging, friendly staff, exceptional P.H. and outfitter and Pieter's own special
reserve red wine! All of that and hundreds of high quality animals viewed every day.
